WHO WE ARE
Holy Family Services is the longest licensed free standing birth center in Texas and the only birth center in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) operated solely by Certified Nurse-Midwives! We are a highly sought-out birth center, conveniently located in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. Our birth center is known around the country for the exemplary midwifery care it provides. Patients come to us from all areas of the RGV, including the Mission/McAllen/Edinburg area, all the way to Brownsville and South Padre Island. We have even had patients come to us from as far away as Roma and Corpus Christi, TX!
Founded in 1983 by four Catholic sisters, we continue to uphold their mission by being a place where faith is valued and providing safe and affordable family-centered maternity care to families in the RGV. Our strongest focus lies in honoring and protecting the natural processes of pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding, while preserving and respecting individuality, human dignity, and cultural variation.
The midwives at Holy Family care for families during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. We offer a combination of prenatal care, labor and birth services, water birth, postpartum home visits, and newborn care, in addition to well-woman care outside of pregnancy.
We accept most private insurance plans in addition to Medicaid/CHIPS. We also offer cash pay rates with payment plans and discounts available.
